Rune Nyord
Postdoc fellow (2008-2010)
Rune Nyord was a postdoctoral fellow at the Centre of Canon and Identity Formation from 2008 to 2010 with a research project titled “Textual criticism and meta-text in ancient Egyptian compilations”. He was trained as an Egyptologist at the University of Copenhagen. Rune Nyord’s primary research interests deal with ancient Egyptian language and religion, especially the application of methods from cognitive linguistics and anthropology to ancient Egyptian texts.
